Those who have attended the first two days will understand what drives them, have written a specification of the optimum investment and have found a prospect from one of their leads. The third day covers the background research for pre-meeting preparation and ending with the negotiations for involvement. The day includes desk research into a real investment opportunity to see what can be discovered and how that information may be used to gauge the quality of the investment during the first meeting. Attendees will research the background of a real company as an exercise in discovering what information is available on the Internet. The day ends with a Corporate Lawyer providing insight into what they can do for you and some example Due Diligence check lists.
The results from this workshop will directly feed into the next workshop about Contracts and Finance.
