Business Angel Network (BAN)
A Business Angel Network is an organisation that acts as an introduction agency for companies to investors and investors to companies.
For the company, the organisation will spend time explaining the implications of selling equity and make sure that the proposition is reasonable. Typically only 5% of companies that approach a network will ever be presented to Business Angels.
Investors gain two benefits from Business Angel Networks: first a source of qualified leads; second a place to meet other investors in order to start syndicates for investment.
Under the Resources menu on this web site you will find a list of Business Angel Networks in the UK.
