A new series for BBC TWO - is looking for new products

Posted 3rd February 2010

"High Street" - a new series for BBC TWO - is looking for new products that should be sold in high street shops, but have yet to find their market.

"High Street" is being made by Maverick TV for BBC TWO and will have "unique access to the buying departments of some of the biggest names on the high street, who want to meet undiscovered design talent and are willing to stock the best products they see."

The series is looking for NEW products that their creators think should be sold in high street shops, but have yet to find their market. So if you are an entrepreneur, inventor or designer and believe you have developed a UNIQUE product, this is your chance to sell it to a mass market.

There will be a series of Open Days in February 2010 when members of the public - selected through this application process - will have the opportunity to pitch to their influential buyers. If chosen by the buyers, cameras will follow the highs and lows of developing the product from prototype to production.

Theo Paphitis of Dragon’s Den will be the presenter of the programme and will be observing the progress of contributors and the development of their products.

An application form to take part in High Street is available NOW, on Maverick TV's website - see below.
