The original house was listed in the Domesday Book and was once owned by Elizabeth I's Lord High Treasurer and Chief Minister, Lord Burghley. It was rebuilt in 1840 and nowadays all that remains of the original manor is the dovecote, although the large stone fireplaces that adorn the present 19th-century building were salvaged from the original house.

Each day of the seminar costs £295 and includes lunch, tea and coffee breaks. Delegates opting to complete both days will have the overnight accommodation included, with an evening meal offering the opportunity for further networking and discussion of points raised throughout the day.
